HAIRCUTS FOR HOPE
Background and Structure:
The Haircuts for Hope Project is an initiative by Skoolie Foundation designed to provide free haircuts and personal grooming services to homeless and unhomed individuals. Utilizing the Empowerment Mobile Shower Bus and the Mobile Command Unit Outreach Bus, the project partners with local libraries, churches, and community centers to offer these services. The goal is to boost the self-esteem and morale of individuals by giving them a fresh look and a renewed sense of hope.
